Wise Ones are a subset of mortals who have no magic themselves but instead have free access to all the knowledge of the Immortals. They often result from the mating of two half-bloods where the child inherits the non-magical genes from both parents. They are comparable to Squibs from the Harry Potter series, not quite Muggles and not quite Mages.
